Return of laboratory sample
With a home laboratory test, you collect the sample yourself, for example, urine, blood, or a swab. You then return this sample to our laboratory free of charge using the reply number provided. This is possible from anywhere in Europe.
Unfortunately, mail items are increasingly taking longer to arrive
Mail is also getting lost more and more often. Therefore, we've listed a few options below for faster and more reliable delivery.

Need same-day results? You can drop off your sample (in the letterbox box) at our Microbe&Lab laboratory. All samples submitted to reception before 12:00 PM will be analyzed the same day. Results will be available online after 6:00 PM that same day. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM: Rosalyn Building, Paalbergweg 2-4, Amsterdam.
You can drop off your letterbox-sized package at a PostNL Service Point. Request a shipping receipt/track and trace code, so you can track the package. Check the PostNL website for locations. Location guide: find post office opening hours | PostNL
Send your package using the carrier of your choice. Express delivery is sometimes available, which will allow your package to reach our laboratory even faster. You can specify the delivery location as: ThuisTest.Shop - Paalbergweg 2-4, 1105 AG Amsterdam - Netherlands. Shipping costs are at your own expense.
Send an email to info@thuistest.shop requesting a shipping label. We can create a shipping label for you and send it to you. You can choose from DHL, DPD, UPS, or FedEx. We prefer to use DHL as our standard method. The advantage of using a label through ThuisTest is that you can also leave your package completely anonymously in a DHL parcel locker.
Send the letterbox-sized packages through a PostNL mailbox. Please note the collection times. Sending through the mailbox also increases the risk of your sample getting lost or arriving late.

From other countries, the package can be shipped free of charge. We use an IBRS (International Business Reply Service) number. This should work in every country. Unfortunately, many postal points are not very familiar with this, so we recommend simply putting the item in your mailbox or, for added security, sending it directly to the address above via your preferred carrier.
The 12-in-1 tests can be sent from Belgium directly to the Belgian address below.
