Treating an STD infection?

If you have a positive result, antibodies have been found on the smear or in your blood or urine. There is an infection, unfortunately. You do not need to worry if you have tested positive. STDs (except HIV) are fortunately usually easy to treat.

Oh dear, infected!

That's annoying, but we can help you. With a lab result, you can usually go straight to your GP for treatment. Can't or don't want to go to your own GP? That's no problem either! You can (usually) also be treated through us. There are conditions, however, and we cannot treat all STDs.

We currently only offer free treatment for Chlamydia. This is by far the most common STD at the moment.

Free treatment for chlamydia

We offer our tests including treatment of chlamydia (with medication) by an online doctor and pharmacy.

More than 95% of chlamydia cases are cured with antibiotics, especially doxycycline and azithromycin by means of a course of 2 pills per day, for 7 days. During this period you may not have sex.

Other STDs

If you have gonorrhea or syphilis, physical treatment is required. Usually you will receive the medication ceftriaxone. You will then receive one injection of this medication. For treatment, we refer you to your GP, who can usually treat you free of charge, or if you want to be treated anonymously to OneDayClinic in The Netherlands, where you can be treated for €95 (gonorrhea) or €130 (syphilis) in Amsterdam Centrum, Amsterdam Zuid, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven, The Hague, Nijmegen and Enschede. An anonymous consultation with a doctor/nurse of 15 minutes can also be planned for €50. Email us for more information.
